HOORAY FOR EARTH | “TRUE LOVES”

Due to the summerish hangover that is present in the actual music scene, it’s been difficult to find a single which worthed all our attention . Summer is over and so all the summer hits and so that tropical-indie and beach lo-fi music. It’s time to change.

Hooray for Earth was born in Boston, MA on 2005-2006. They had shelter under that Cambridge-based label Dopamine Records. However, they took an hiatus  around 2007 because Noel Heroux moved to NYC. Travelling back and forth between Boston and NYC, they kept going in spite of the distance.

“True Loves” make us recall that lo-fi which is so Gauntlet Hair, but it also has a more lively melody in it. The chorus caresses your face as the morning wind and the bass line tells you, in a ethereal way, that everything has started once again.
