CREEP

This might not be new for some people, however it’s fresh. Lauren Flax and Lauren Dillard are two producers/Djs from Brooklyn. Thanks to their neat trip-hop, they have managed to create a dark atmosphere which dances in a world of after-punk. On December 20th, the 12″ “Days” was released under the label Young Turks. From our point of view, the launch set Creep as the soundtrack for the living we are making nowadays. Their transgressor attitude and their numerous night events have struck home.  They’re happening in the new dark-wave bands, so it is easy to understand their connections to bands such as The XX or Von Haze.

The XX/ Here you will find their new single “Days” feat. Romy from The XX.
