BOARDS OF CANADA

BOARDS OF CANADA by NEIL KRUG

Boards of Canada is one of those bands that touches you deep inside. No matter that they haven´t released any new material in a couple of years, they simply will always be there. Even if you consider yourself a polka-head or a metal-head, you will fell them. That is for sure. BoC is a scottish composed by Markus Eoin and Mike Sandison. They are quite elusive, they are not really keeon on having interviews and so on. Indeed, this only makes them more authentic. BoC´s tracks are an etheral mélage of downtempo, IDM, ambient and experimental sounds, heavily influenced by 70´s electrónica pioneers. Almost all their material is publised on Warp. Nevertheless, and if you love them as much as we do, we strongly recomend you to check their work on BoC very own label, Music 70, and the stuff under their other moniker Hell Interface.
