TOP PRIMAVERA SOUND 2011 SHOWS

By Victor Morcillo

After a couple of days of recovering, I feel ready to publish my Top Ten of this year’s Primavera Sound Festival. They say the PS 2011 has been the edition of the disappointment, and I really think so too. Nevertheless, they were still some pretty decent shows…And:

– My festival debit card was burnt out!

– Some shows that I was really looking forward to see were crap (like Ariel Pink, Deerhunter or John Cale)

But, I saw, at least, a few outstanding shows and I had a few really good moments. Here, you can find this year’s top concerts, in my slightly biased opinion:

1. Ty Segall

2. Battles

3. Grinderman

4. Mogwai

5. Davila 666

6. Animal Colective

7. Caribou

8. Male Bonding

9. Baths

10. Fleet Foxes

+

11. Pulp (Seeing Pulp alone was totally down, but… Common People)

The Top Pics  is coming  (A MICROPENIS included too!)
