POLLYESTER | Earthly Powers

Pollyester is a complex band to talk about. Their name might reminds you to plastic, but they can’t be blended in a static shape. In fact, they’re quite the opposite. From Munich, Polina Lapkovskaja (aka Polly) and Manuel da Coll (aka Yossarian) released a month ago their debut album called ‘Earthly Powers’ on Permanent Vacation. Their songs move in between different music styles, but always with those infectious and quite funky rythms. They play with disco, witch house and tribal rythms. It might be difficult to imagine somehting like this, but something is crystal clear and that’s that they got a special talent to transform themselves in every each song. They’re capable of seducing to different sounds and put them together to create an unique beat. Long story short, they totally know what they do.
