Patrick Wolf’s fifth studio album, ‘Lupercalia’, is already on the stores via Mercury Records.

The British multi-instrumentist and songwriter claims that, ‘Lupercalia’ is his most ambitious LP and that, maybe it could comprehend a turn into mainstream pop music. Leaving that goth-folk vibe of his early work, it seems, far behind.

We would like you to check, first, this two videos. The clips are a collaboration between Patrick Wolf & John Lindquist that aims to illustrate Lupercalia’s soul and character.

Patrick Wolf + John Lindquist –  Lupercalia III (2011)

In our opinion, ‘Lupercalia’ may be the less innovative of Wolf’s albums. In spite of the mediocre critics it recently got, we (lovers of the artist’s initial work like ‘Lycanthropy’ ) believe that this LP still have a few pretty decent tracks that is definitely worth to listen to.
