BORIS

Boris is a experimental japanese band that pushes far away the idea of what you and I may have about eclecticticism. The trio from Tokyo’s early sound was noise rock. Then, they evolutionate to glam-metal (don´t miss their split EP with Ian Astbury de The Cult, ‘BXI’ on Southern Lord). And, nowadays they just can´t stop exploring new spaces. This year, they have released 4 Lps consisting in 4 quite different approaches to music. From these 4, we would like to focos on  ‘Attention Please’ and ‘Heavy Rocks’ (Sargent House, 2011). The first one, eis kinda an experiment of electropop & showgaze. The second, is a dark noise-rock steamy fog. The video we share with you has a track of each album (‘Heavy Rocks’-‘Riotsugar’| ‘Attention Please’ -‘Hope’).
