THUNDERCAT | The Golden Age of Apocalypse

Thundercat by Theo Jemison via Brainfeeder site

This is one of those posts in which no matter how hard I try, my words won´t be able to transmit, even vaguely, the feeling of the music featured on it.

Stephen Bruner aka Thundercat is known as ‘the mutant jazz cat’ due to his approach to his craft and his instrument. Lately, he has been collobarating with artists such as Erykah Badu, Eric Benet or the class-a pianist, Austin Peralta. And, ‘The Golden Age of Apocalypse’ is his first ‘solo’ LP, in which Thundercat has put on a big deal of his talent.

I would like to share with you my favorite tracks of Thundercat’s album, released on Brainfeeder. Produced by Flying Lotus.
